Here's to all the happy hours,

Cheers for the Hong Kong Scouting,

Here's to all those comrades of ours,

Gathered here beside the sea.

Down along the sandy beach,

Upon the rugged hills,

Round the campfire in the evening,

Here's to the Hong Kong Scouts.

To the sea, to the hills,

To the light of the fire at the eventide,

To the Chief, to Chaiwan,

To the Scouts all over the countryside,

We shall sing, with a will,

As sparks leap up to the starry sky,

Tell our hearts, with a thrill,

That the spirit of Scouting shall never die.
